Our operations span accommodation, dining, wellness, and events, supported by a professional team committed to service excellence and attention to detail.Job OverviewThe Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The role supports day-to-day accounting operations while providing reliable financial information to aid management decision-making within a hospitality environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Transactions & Record KeepingManage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entriesPrepare, review, and post journal entries with appropriate documentation and account codingPerform bank, supplier, and balance sheet reconciliations in a timely mannerMaintain accurate financial records in line with internal policies and proceduresMonth-End Close & ReportingSupport month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and adjustmentsPrepare financial reports, schedules, and reconciliations for management reviewAssist in analyzing variances and trends to support operational and financial planningCompliance & Internal ControlsEnsure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial controlsAssist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit queriesSupport continuous improvement of financial controls and accounting processesCash & Vendor ManagementMonitor cash movements and assist with cash flow managementManage supplier accounts, statements, reconciliations, and payment processingLiaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing or payment discrepanciesCross-Functional SupportWork closely with operations, procurement, and administration teams to ensure accurate financial dataSupport finance leadership with ad-hoc reports, analysis, and special projects as requiredRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, service, or property environmentsStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reportingProficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft ExcelHigh level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPersonal Attributes
